CMouth Blown Cased Art Glass Vase

This piece is blown in stages with multiple overlays.  It features a bold Saffron Yellow solid interior, a white layer, the design layer in Emerald Green, Cobalt Blue and Black, and a thick, crystal clear lens layer. 

Lip and base are ground and finely polished.

Piece measures 5.5" tall by 9" wide.  It weighs 6.7  pounds.

This piece was produced by a professional glass artist living in the Seattle area.   Signed works by this artist are shown in Seattle area galleries and are sold for many hundreds of dollars.  He is very selective in choosing which pieces to sign.  An inconsistency in pattern, a bubble, a form that is not what he sought, imperfect color play, or any small feature of production that belies anything less than the perfection sought, and the piece goes unsigned.

Condition Report for this piece:

This piece has three little flaws all together in a cluster on the bottom of the piece.  There is a bubble, what would appear to be a crack, .75" in length, in the outer clear layer, and a spot where something contacted this piece while it was hot.  See pictures.
