This piece is blown in stages with multiple overlays.  It features a bold Saffron Yellow interior, a white layer, the design layer in Dusty Pink, Magenta and Black, and a thick, crystal clear lens layer on the outside.  Lip and base are ground and finely polished.

Piece measures 5.75" by 8.5" wide.  It weighs 6.9 pounds.

This piece was produced by a professional glass artist living in the Seattle area.   Signed works by this artist are shown in Seattle area galleries and are sold for many hundreds of dollars.  He is very selective in choosing which pieces to sign.  An inconsistency in pattern, a bubble, a form that is not what he sought, imperfect color play, or any small feature of production that belies anything less than the perfection sought, and the piece goes unsigned.

Condition Report for this piece:

This vessel has two spots on the outside where it touched the glory hole.  They are less than .25" each and could be ground out and polished if you have the skills and patience.  See pictures.

There is a gathering of the spiral bar and frit pattern on one side of the vessel.
