This piece is blown in stages with multiple overlays.  It features a bold Aventurine Green interior, a white layer, the design layer in Saffron Yellow, Orange and Black, and a thick, crystal clear lens layer on the outside.  Lip and base are ground and finely polished.

Piece measures 6.5" wide.  It weighs 5.2  pounds.

This piece was produced by a professional glass artist living in the Seattle area.   Signed works by this artist are shown in Seattle area galleries and are sold for many hundreds of dollars.  He is very selective in choosing which pieces to sign.  An inconsistency in pattern, a bubble, a form that is not what he sought, imperfect color play, or any small feature of production that belies anything less than the perfection sought, and the piece goes unsigned.

This vessel has a bubble and a remnant of the removal of the pontil (depression) in the ground and finely polished bottom surface.  That's it!  See pictures.
