This piece was produced by a professional glass artist living in the Seattle area.   Signed works by this artist are shown in Seattle area galleries and are sold for many hundreds of dollars.  He is very selective in choosing which pieces to sign.  An inconsistency in pattern, a bubble, a form that is not what he sought, imperfect color play, or any small feature of production that belies anything less than the perfection sought, and the piece goes unsigned.

The colors pop, the lip is finely polished on this piece.  There is a section where the polished lip does not seamlessly join the body.  In this part, the ground surface is visible.  It is about 1.5" along the outer edge of the lip.   See pictures.
