This piece is blown in stages with multiple overlays.  It features a bold yellow turquoise interior, a white layer, the design layer in cobalt blue, black and purple, and a thick, crystal clear lens layer.

Piece stands 5" tall by 10.5" wide.  It weighs 5 pounds.

This piece was produced by a professional glass artist living in the Seattle area.   Signed works by this artist are shown in Seattle area galleries and are sold for many hundreds of dollars.  He is very selective in choosing which pieces to sign.  An inconsistency in pattern, a bubble, a form that is not what he sought, imperfect color play, or any small feature of production that belies anything less than the perfection sought, and the piece goes unsigned.

This piece has a bit of the white middle layer of glass visible at the lip of the piece.
